The Hotel

Welcome to a new concept hotel with the best location in downtown Santiago, in the financial heart of the city. From the historic center of the city, it opens up a new Fundador Hotel where tradition blends with our European ancestors of our native origins. Its design has been recently created by famed architect Germán del Sol, national architecture award 2006, so who stirs great Andean weaving, slate stone floors with warm rustic rugs, lots of light and liveliness of colors in the rooms and dining rooms, classic European furniture rethought in a more minimalist and cool, a true celebration of styles that finally get himself ... our style.

Spacious and graceful bedrooms that invite you to rest and well-being. The environment

Hotel Fundador, is located in the ``Barrio Paris Londres``, declared a National Monument for preserving its traditional European style of the twentieth years in a beautiful communion with neoclassical styles of important national architects. During the 60s-70s, this neighborhood, which covers some 4 charming blocks, was a meeting point for prominent artists and intellectuals such as Nemesio Antúnez and Pablo Neruda. Para hacer un hotel de cuatro estrellas me decepcionó la habitación pues la decoración la encontré bastante simple y algo anticuada. El aseo estaba bastante bien. El trato del personal excelente. Quizás lo que me molestó fue que en hoteles de tres estrellas me han puesto en la habitación una cafetera y agüita mineral y en este con cuatro estrellas esperaba los mismos amenities sin embargo no había absolutamente nada. Tiene un gimnasio bastante básico pero sirve a su propósito con el único defecto que no tenía toallas y que tampoco tenía mancuernas
